    Paid Online Surveys ?

    Locked

    by us_indus ·

Are paid online surveys any good?

I’ve seen a lot about them recently and a friend of mine seems to be making a nice bit of pocket money from them.

How do online surveys work, and how can they pay you up to $50 an hour just to tick boxes – randomly, if you choose?

In reply to Paid Online Surveys ?

To get paid for online surveys is becoming more popular for web users and there is good reason why. Online surveys can be quick, and are generally simple.

Companies need your input in order to be successful. They need to know what everyday people want in their products, what they prefer, and what will prompt them to buy the products and services the company offers. This is called market research. By providing companies with this information, you are providing them with a valuable service. It gives them an edge on the competition and aids them in the success of their products and services.

Paid surveys can be quite good, if you have the spare time, you can make some spare cash with online survey jobs.

      (online) 🙂 that is.
Online surveys do pay great rates and the questions are simple.

Don’t think there are any / many other work at home jobs, that you can do online. Surveys are tops.

Customer satisfaction surveys and paid surveys are a nice way to make some extra cash. Take surveys from your own home and you can make it into a part time job. Get paid for online surveys like a lot of people nowdays.

The internet evolves and sometimes good things come up, sometimes bad. (I survey for cash)
Cash paid surveys are definatley a good thing.

A friend would do these (live) back about 7 years or so. Made some good cash. He asked me to do them with him, but it would have cut into my drinking time.

I would do them, but where do you find them? I would rather do tech surveys that pay, than mess around with “what your fav soap”.

I use this site. You need to create a profile, then take as many surveys as you like.

There is no limit to the number of surveys you can take, surveys can be as short as 10 questions and as many as 50; the amount of money you make depends on the number of surveys you take, generally you get $5 to $75 per survey.

If you work it like me, it won’t cut into your drinking time 🙂 a few quick random clicks here and there – the drinks’ll be on you!

In reply to paid internet surveys

          Hello, My Name Is Pete.
What you have to say is true below is my experience with paid surveys and the market research companies that provide them, along with what you can expect if you really plan on making a decent income doing this.

Several of years ago I was injured in an on the job accident and had to collect disability, I noticed all of the hype about paid surveys while searching for a way to supplement my meager income online.
I used every conceivable phrase imaginable using the search engines (paid-to paid-survey paid opinions etc.) to try and find a list of companies that would actually pay me well enough to help me pay the bills working online.
I didn?t want to pay for a membership to a survey database, although, that certainly looked like a more expedient way of finding a large catalog of companies to register with, but I can be pretty stubborn when it comes to things like that so I decided that I would do all of the research on my own and compile a database.
Within a couple of months I was making money but not nearly the amount that some of the database website had promised.
I first signed up with GoZing, Greenfield Online, NFO Mysurvey, Synovate, Lightspeed and SurveySpot et cetera. These companies paid exactly what they promised but you have to look at the process as just that, a process. I have found it to be a three tiered process.
First is the registration, when you fill in the signup form with as much personal data as required, this helps the company to identify the surveys you may qualify for in the future.
Second, you must wait for an invitation which will usually arrive within a month after signup, the best exception is NFO Mysurvey, they send you a survey the next day. This process is an important one; this is where you will be informed of the approximant length of the survey and most importantly the reward you will receive if you are able to complete it. If you choose to reply to the invitation it will most likely take you to a brief questionnaire that will confirm you meet the criteria set by the company to start the survey.
Third is simply filling in the survey, this might seem arduous to some but I myself enjoy it, maybe it?s that I buy into the thought process that I?m not only making a little bit of extra cash but that I?m effecting the future marketplace. Either way, this is my favorite part of the three.
The real key to turning this into something more than a passing whim is to take it for what it is. Your average survey will pay you about $3 and take you about twelve minutes to complete, not bad if you think about it!
Here?s the secret, you have to find hundreds of quality companies and register with every one of them, this gets your profile into enough databases to allow you to be selective when invitations arrive. Just last week I finished a bulletin board discussion and received $100.00 in compensation for about an hour and a half of my time. While I can?t divulged what company it was that paid me I can tell you it?s an easily recognizable name in the industry. Another company paid me $40.00 for a twenty minute survey involving a subject that I am particularly qualified for.
So you see it?s really all about the sheer number of these companies who have you on file in their database so when their clients needs require folks that meet your specific qualifications you get the opportunity to be rewarded.
Since I started this endeavor more than three years ago I have made close to $50,000 completing online and telephone surveys, participating in online and on site focus and discussion groups, product testing, taste testing, you name it.
I have taking everything that I learned during this time and started my own website. Not a paid survey database but a free one I update it everyday and have laid it out in an easy to understand way that?s also easy to navigate.
          Please take a look.

In reply to Paid Online Surveys ?

Some of the best and most well known companies in the world including, AT&T, Target, Walmart want to pay you for your opinion! Why, I hear you ask? Because markets are becoming ever-more competitive, the costs to bring new products to the market are increasing and consumer desire and demand is increasing in complexity.

These companies realize consumer feedback on new products and services, product development and service enhancement are essential to gaining or maintaining a competitive edge, developing new products and enhancing existing products.

Two of the most effective methods for obtaining feedback are Surveys and Focus groups.

Surveys are usually conducted via the Internet or over the phone and usually take 5 – 30 minutes. They consist of a series of questions that may be specific to a product or service or may be more generalized in nature. You may receive up to $150 or receive other prizes for your participation.

Focus Groups are usually comprised of a grouping of individuals that are asked to focus on a particular product or issue, provide feedback and offer suggestions. Focus Groups are usually conducted via the Internet or via conference calls and can take up to 1 hour. You may receive up to $250/hr or receive other prizes for your participation.

Generally, if you want to make money from these sites, you usually need to buy your membership, this joins you with the paid survey company (if you think about it, they can’t just give the information away, they act as the middle-man, which is good for you, as it offers you protection and gauranteed payments)

Here?s the secret, you have to find hundreds of quality companies and register with every one of them, and this gets your profile into enough databases to allow you to be selective when invitations arrive.
Just last week I finished a bulletin board discussion and received $100.00 in compensation for about an hour and a half of my time. While I can?t divulge what company it was that paid me I can tell you it?s an easily recognizable name in the industry. Another company paid me $40.00 for a twenty minute survey involving a subject that I am particularly qualified for and I have completed countless surveys for $10 to $15.This is not something the average person who gets involved in this should expect.

I take this very seriously and spend a great deal of time keeping me profiles updated to make sure these companies have all of my prudent information. So you see it?s really all about information and sheer number of these companies who have you and your profile on file in their database, so when their clients needs require folks that meet your specific qualifications you get the opportunity to be rewarded.

Since I started this endeavor more than three years ago I have made close to $50,000, this is not something you should expect to achieve but if I did it participating in and completing online and telephone surveys, online and at site focus and discussion groups, product testing, taste testing, you name it, then you might be able to as well if you put the time in and believe me it takes a great deal of it if your as serious as I am.

I have taken everything that I learned during this time and started my own website. Not a paid survey database but a free one.
I update it everyday and have laid it out in an easy to understand way that?s also easy to navigate.

I listed a free paid survey site in the heading.

They also provide a free list of mystery shopping companies.

A nice thing is that the links take you right to the free sign up page of each company. And, they also toss in form filling software to help you fill in the forms.
