Pain in the ass: HP-8200e CD-RW Drive

by allswell . Updated 25 years, 2 months ago

I have been dealing with two HP-8200e CD-RW drives. These are external USB burners and I have had nothing but troubles. I have the latest drivers straight from HP and have tried several different Burning programs and have the same problems. I seem to get repititive I/O errors when trying to write to disks. I am able to read from them fine. I don’t believe that I’m am getting buffer underflow errors because I’m running with a 1ghz Thunderbird and 2ghz of pc-150 Ram, and windows(such the resource lover) is the only program running. My question would be has anyone out there used one of these drives and have any good advice??????
