We use Word 7 on Vista 64 and like to use multi-level automatic paragraph numbering for our specifications. We sometimes need to set the number value (to over ride the auto numbering) but can’t do it. It just does not work – although Word says it does. When we look at the document, the auto number, instead of our selected numbering vaue, shows in the document.
