Parallel to USB Convertor?

My PC doesn't have a USB port to connect a printer/scanner ? Is there a convertor for a Parallel port to USB port, so that I can use the printer/scanner?

There are such hardware devices... but make sure that your Windows OS will support USB:

I recommend that you get a USB addon card. Since converters may cause you problems in the long run. go to www.usbtown.com and checkout the prices. Also they sell converters to.
