Partition in Computer Manager

I have been researching detail instruction on partitioning a NTFS drive. I would like to allocate more free space on the primary drives, so how would I accomplish this task.
The problem is I have several system that had company partition images created on them, and the primary drives are becoming full with programs and files which leaves no system memory accessible to run anything else.
This system tool seems a lot faster than a tool like Partition Magic. Any help on this?
