Partition table data for disks >7.8g

by jerry.taube . Updated 25 years ago

It is clear that the chs system for large drives is inadequate and that the use of absolute sector numbers are used, but where are the numbers placed? I have a drive that lost all the partitions over 7.8g but I am able to see them with Norton. If I could replace the pointers to the extended partions,I could fix the problem. Any one know?
