I need urgent help!
I have 2 hdds, dual booted with vista and Xp on seperate drives. When i removed my xp drive I could not boot into vista. I investigated and saw my boot record is sitting on the xp drive and the Vista OS on the other drive. I tried several senarios like inserting the vista cd and running the repair tab but it does not detect my drive.
I made a mistake by making the XP drive a Dynamic partition and which is also a system partition. I cant even format the Xp drive. I want to use the vista drive on its own and need to know how to move or recreate my Vista drive to boot on its own.
please help. I would not want to re-install right now.
