Try the boot floppy disk (or the CD) from this siet: http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/bootdisk.html I have used the boot floppy many times. It has worked every time on a computer with IDE drives or SATA drives. If you have a SCSI drive on the computer you will probably need the CD.
I have found that it works best when you <blank out> the password. Sometimes it has not worked when I change the password to a "preferred" password, but it has worked when I blanked the password.
