Is there any free download software/utility for password cracker for office 2000 speacially word 2000 ?

There are many at dowload.cnet.com they mostly are not free but will do a certain number of characters in a password for free. There are some as low as $30 shareware. Just go to dowload.cnet.com I typed in word password and got a slew of password crakers. If you need a password to a word document that you can't find it's the only way. Have used a few in the past and they are time cosuming but they work.

I don't know of any free utilities. However, if you are in a crunch, you can open Word, click on File>>Open>>Recover Text from any file.

You can open it without a password, but you will lose all of your formatting.
