Password Protect a FOLDER on Shared Driv

How do you password protect a folder on a shared drive. Have information in folder that want to password protect to keep unauthorized users from accessing and changing documents.

You don't say anything about the system you have. If it's W2K or XP use the NTFS restrictions. RightClick on the folder > Security > remove "everyone" after unchecking "allow inheritable .." and add the users you want to have access to the folder.

1 best solution is http://www.protectafolder.com/ that worked for me after trying couple of suggestions & third party software's. But this software has made its mark in my computing zone & i am very happy to use this software for protecting folders or files in my computing.
