Passwords

By philldmc ·
I'm a technology Coordinator at a elementary/middle school. I am currently getting the message that the students passwords will expire in 3 days. Is there any way to tell several accounts at once not to let the password expire or am I stuck in changing on at a time.

You need to supply more info first
1. server OS
2. workstation oses
3. assuming? logon to domain for user password?
4. do you have admin on server?
5. are the logins unique for each student or just generic

if you have access to the server you can change the password on the domain for the users, or set it to never expire (under w2k server)..let us know

My mistake for not giving you much information.
W2K Server with SP3, NT Domain, Running Active Directory.
I am logged on to the server as the Administrator.

My question is: Can I change several accounts to say "password never expires" at onceor must I do that for each user separately?

I always thought it was by individual account in AD, though it might be possible with making OU's and GPO's , I'm probably wrong there.
