Pastel Shade Highlighting for MSWord

MSWord03 highlights. I am illuminating text of the USCode (to reveal what it says). For fonts color MS offers 40 plus custom choices. For highlighting it offers only 15 plus none. Only yellow can be used and it is too intense. It would be nice if the bottom row of colors for fonts could be available for highlighting. Is there any way this can be done?
