I need to patch a Cat5 data cable through to another room, but the only cabling avaliable in the building is telephone.
What pin outs do i need to do this? From cat5 cable to 4 wire (RJ11) plug then 4 wire (RJ11) plug to cat5 cable.
I do not need fast data through this cable, so 4 wires should be enough, but i just need the pin outs for the PCs to work on the network.
