Path Not Found for Server Manager

by jwloewen . Updated 24 years, 9 months ago

I just installed Win NT 4 (a student MCSE classroom eval ver CD) on a Win 98 SE system. There are 2 HDDs. There are several partitions on each, some FAT, some FAT32. I installed NT to C which is FAT, starting the install from Win98 using the CD. I can bootup into NT and access folders and files on the FAT partitions. I can run Disk Admin, which shows the same drive letter assignments as uner Win98. But when I try to run Server Manager or User Manager, I get error msg that “path not found”. On some attempts to start other admin kinds of programs, it claims the domain server can’t be found. I’ve searched the registry for the domain name and path problems, didn’t find anything obviously wrong. How do I resolve this to run the admin programs?
