I have a problem with my PC. It seems to have blown the motherboard. I’ve check the drives and put them in another PC and they are fine. Now for the problem…if I try to boot this PC with the moved drive it wants me to register. I tried to do telephone registration as the ‘net connection is not working yet but the response was that it wasn’t a valid code I entered. I’m running XP Home. I don’t really want to reinstall the OS since I don’t want to have to reinstall apps as well. Any ideas?
