Pc fix problem

I’ve just cleaned my pc and there are a few problems. Firstly my monitor says no signal, the HDMI cable works fine as I tested it on another device. And i was wondering if there is way to fix that. Also when i turn my computer on it works fine for a few seconds then turns off for a few seconds and then turns on again and repeats. Is there any way you know of fixing these problems or do i need to replace some parts

As the system is turning off and on I would start with the basics what is it? You may know but I have no idea what you are using so I can only guess.

What do you mean by Cleaned?

Is that pulling it apart and cleaning the dust and other crud out of the case and internals?

Or is it cleaning the case after removing every lead or not?

Or cleaning all the temp files off the HDD?

If the monitor says it has No Signal it doesn’t have a signal and as you have tested the HDMI Lead did you also try the monitor to see if it is actually working? I know I once spent a couple of hours chasing down a video problem when my Test Monitor failed and stopped displaying anything.

Now the stopping and starting all depends on what you actually mean by Cleaned there are numerous things that can cause this to happen and depending on if it is NB or Desktop they are different so assuming it is a desktop how old is it?

Do you leave it plugged in when it is not on?

Have you removed anything from inside it even if you refitted everything you think you took out?

Thanks for your help, but i rebuilt the whole thing yesterday and it works now
