Hi All,
I’m a network admin, but I’m also an avid gamer online. This problem is affecting my home pc. Can’t figure this out (and I ruined my 3 day weekend trying to fix it). I’m unable to run anything high end, such as games (Mech Warrior 4,HalfLife, Rogue Squadron). I’m at a loss. The same problem seems to be affecting all the games the same way though. It will play for about 10-15 seconds then completely freeze. If there’s any sound at the time, that will be stuck playing as well. My current configuration is this:
Amd Athlon 1.4
256 mb ram
Windows 98
GeForce3 Ti 200
Creative Audigy
DirectX 8.1
If any other information is needed, I’ll gladly give it. Just want to get this thing fixed. I’ve gone as far as reformatting and reloading the whole thing from scratch. Such headaches. Anyways, thanks for any help that can be offered
