PC hangs!!!

by kamran_ishaq . Updated 25 years, 1 month ago

Dear MasterMinds,
I have 32 Computers in my Lab. which configurations are as under:
Motherboard – ECS (GFXL) 133Bus speed
Builtin Sound, VGA, Modem
Processor – Intel 600MHz 133Bus speed
NIC – Anet (Realtek chipset)
RAM – 64MB
CD ROM – Maze 52X
FDD – Mitsumi 1.44
HDD – 20.1 GB Seagate
Keybrd/Mouse- Lunar
OS – NT 4.0 workstation SP 6a
Other Software:
Adobe Photoshop 6, Dreamweaver 3, Fireworks 4, Flash 4, Authorware 4, MS Office 2000, Acrobat reader 4, IE 4.01
Visual Basic 6, Turbo C 3.0, Nortorn Antivirus 2000,

The whole network is used Lucent CAT 5 cable and 3com, Anet switches and a Lantech HUB. Also FacePlate and I/Os are of AMP with ANET patch pannels.

I am facing a problem that sometimes during the software usage on the above mentioned PC, it stucks and remain in hanging condition unless I reboot the system.
What I have done to recover this problem:
1. I have verified the proper installation of each software
2. Check individual PC by removing from the network
3. I have supplied UPS and stabilizers for power impurities
4. Fixed PC on the location where another is working fine

But the result I got is same and still got the same problem of hanging in computers.

Please anyone have any idea to solve this problem, I would be grateful to him/her.

regards,
Kamran Ishaq.
