I am working on a Sony Vaio that has win xp home, 1.60 ghz, 80 gig hard drive partioned, with 512 mb RAM. I have ran a spyware on it and got rid of quite a bit of Spyware but am not currently finding any more. I have done a registry cleaner, disk cleanup, and virus scan. I can boot inot safe mode and it will not shut off but while I’m in normal windows after it boots up it will be fine for about 3 mins then it will shut down. When it shuts down its almost like someone just pulled the power from it and it restarts. It gives no error message either. But it does it each and every time without fail. And it is almost exactly the same amount of time elapsed each time before it rebbots which is about 3 mins. Any help would be great.
