I had been using my destop for some graphic work recently, nv had any problem turning off or on. But recently i try to turn on my destop and the LED green light did lit up. but the yellow light below the soft reset button keep flashing every 2 to 3 seconds. The CD-rom drive’s green light keep flashing as if it’s loading something, but there’s nothing inside. There was no beep sound at all, but i can hear a bit of loading going on when i first turn on, but that’s it. The fan is working though. The monitor’s light just keeps blinking without showing anything.
and this actually happened once before not long ago, but it can be switched on just after a while, but now it’s been days but it’s still not working.
and after awhile, the CD-rom drive’s light and the yellow light below the reset button stopped flashing. As if everything’s alright, but there’s still no video shown on monitor even though monitor light’s still flashing.
and btw, the computer’s harddisc drive is running out of space. C drive has less 1GB space while E drive has around 20GB space left. Is this the problem? The ram is only 512mb. graphic card is radeon 9600. intel pentium 4. PC was self fixed – not by me.
