This is the situation: I get an existing Microsoft word document and I make changes to it, I send this document as an e-mail attachment, the system frezee and I no able to do anything else, but if I don’t make changes to the same document I can sendit OK, all this is happening in a win2K enviroment.

Did you save the doucment before trying to send it so that it was not trying to email a file from TEMP.

Have you gone to windowsupdate.microsoft.com and upgradated your Win2000. If not go there and on the left menu select PRODUCT UPDATES. There are issues simular to this that have been resolved in the critical updates.
You didn’t mention your e-mail client, but if outlook there are also updates relating to these issues.

Install Windows 2000 Service Pack 2.

Also, have you installed Internet Explorer 5 Patch? If so, it may also be a cause of your lock up.
