is there anyone here with a similar problem on an asus p5nd2-sli motherboard, the problem is the pc power button only works (powers up) after i wait nearly half a minute after switching the mains supply to the pc on. its only recently started happening. ive heard a possible cause could be a capacitor on the motherboard.
strange thing is if i shut the pc down and press the power button without switching the mains power off, it boots ok.
power supply is thermaltake twv(total watts viewer)-500watt showing 245watts used
