Pc reboots

By byteside ·
Having a problem with Sony Memory stick floppy disk adaptor MSAC-FD2M. Everytime I put it in the floppy drive, my computer will reboot.. I can put a regular 3.5 floppy disk in the floppy drive with out any problems and can read and write to it with out any problems. Does anyone have any clue what would be causing this to happen. The computer is new with windows 2000 pro. Using Driver SPVD-005 that came with memory stick and the Sony Mavica MVC-FD95 camera.

Hi

Try here for do's, don'ts and restrictions:

Also, have you checked you are using the most up-to-date driver?

Good luck

Have you checked the event logs????
My guess it is a driver issue...below is a link to the latest driver Sony offers for Win2k. I am not sure if it is the same one you have or not because it does not give a version. Hope this helps!!!
