PC Resources

I have a Compaq Presario 5000 running WinME with 64 MB of RAM. I have a RAM Monitor and it usually says that there is 0% of free RAM.
I know I should probably fix this by buying more ram but is there another solution? Secondly, my System Resource Meter usually says that there is between 49% and 56% of free resources. I think I can add more free resources my removing some of the applications in startup- MSCONFIG. But, I do not know which ones I can remove because I do not know what most of them do. Can anyone help me? Thank you.
Frustrated ME user.

Here is a list of the items in MSCONFIG.

Cydoor
Taskmonitor
Digital Dashboard
Service Connection
Motive Monitor
Alogserve
DXM6Patch_981116
PCTVOICE
ScanRegistry
PCHealth
SystemTray
LoadPowerProfile
Hidserv
CPQEASYACC
EACLEAN
CPQInet
Country Selection
LoadQM
CPQBootPerfDb
New.net Startup
EAC_Download
SchedulingAgent
LoadPowerProfile
*StateMGR

This is a blank space but after it says… Command: C:\PROGRA~1\Common~2\Browse~1\CNBabe.exe

Cal Reminder Shortcut
load=
run=

Could you please explain what some of these do also. Thank you very much.
