PC restarts when Network card Enabled

by parthiv_13 . Updated 20 years, 9 months ago

Windows XP Pro, i845GVSR with onboard LAN (intel(PRO)/100 VE network card).

It was working good till morning. In noon when I installed Sygate Personal Firewall it started restarting problem whenever I tried to get enabled my Network Card Enabled. So I went in to Safe Mode with Networking. And over there nothing was the problem. Network Card and all the things are working good. No restarts in Safe MOde. I removed the Sygate Firewall fromt there. And disabled network card from there.

Again I loged on in Normal mode. Where it was working good. But again when I try to enable my Network card it gets restarted.

I have tried installing and uninstalling of drivers. System Restore but its not working at all. There were no hardware conflict I found. Network Card is using IRQ 20 number.

So question is it works good in SAFE mode and not working in Normal mode when I enable my Network card… What is the Solution People….?

Thank you in advance for accepted or non accepted answers…
