hello guys, i got new 3.0Ghz, D101GGC motherboard, 1GB RAM, sony DVD writer. my problem is whenever i read or burn any cd/dvd, the whole pc slows down. also the reading(coping data) and writing is very slow. i'm really worried about the problem. please help. regards, sagar

Hai, I think your CDRom is connected with your Harddisk with the same caple on mother board.This situation will make your system very slow when you use the CDRom, therefore use two caples intead of one caple to connect the Harddisk and CDRom on the mother board. Thanx.
There is also another possibility here as well though I think that the first answer will provide a suitable solution.
But if it doesn't go into BIOS and set the CPU Temp setting to a higher level somewhere around 75 C will be quite safe and you'll not run into any problems with the Duty Cycle of the CPU being cut back as it gets hotter on any CPU Intensive tasks.

PC slows down..
