    PC that wont boot

    I have a Gateway DX4870-UB318 from 2012, I try to boot it but no display, and no post unless an error like RAM error! I have been trying hard, it wont boot, I manualy reset the bios with pins and CMOS but it wont work

      Then have it repaired. Most likely, however, the costs of a repair shop will be higher than the current worth of a 10 year old PC. So it might be time for another one.

      I advise seeing if we can find that same make and model but working on Ebay because the shop repair starts at 150 and goes up from there.

      Once we have a working DX4870 we can move the old PCs hard drive and what else into the working DX4870.

      Check the RAM

      If you have two sticks of RAM, try to take out one or the other. If it works, it might be a faulty RAM and you would have to replace it. Take it to a service center if it’s not that.

      NO, THIS WAS THE BEST PC I HAD, I CAN’T BUY A NEW ONE!
      I have an MSI, but I want to run black midi’s on my DX, maybe I can remove the CPU and re put it back in

      If Windows crashes or blue screens on you every time it boots, you may be facing a hardware or software problem. For example, malware or a buggy driver may be loading at boot and causing the crash, or your computer’s hardware may be malfunctioning. To test this, boot your Windows computer in safe mode.
