hi everyone,
i need some help – first let me say that i am a NON tech person but i can navigate my way around so i need a few simple steps to recovery my registry file. yesterday i ran a registry clean-up program, when i went to reboot the system never came back up. i’ve created the ulimate boot cd but i’m not sure what to do with it as the laptop will not boot from the cd. i also do not have my windows XP disks as i recently let a friend of mine borrow them. can anyone help with me a few step by step instructions on how i can get my registry file back? btw, i also tried booting with the last good configuration and that didn’t help either. thanks!
