Hiya I have a problem with my secondary pc. It wont go past the Intel page when I boot it up.
I’ve had it for 5 years now and is an Advent T9001 with Pentium 4 processor, 1 GB RAM, 120GB main hard drive and 320 GB secondary HD for storage of pictures and music and such. I also fired in a better graphics card about 6 months ago but it hasn’t given me any problems so I dont think its related to this installation.
After reading a thread about someone with spookily enough the same model of pc and virtually the same problem I tried disconnecting the OS hard drive and the pc then booted past the Intel screen and gave me a disk failure message.
Is this a sign that my OS HD is buggered?
I believe the second HD is ok, well I hope it is as I have all the pics of my son growing up on it!
