I am wondering what could be the problem is when my PC won’t wake up from standby when moving the USB Intellimouse? I have reinstalled the Windows 98SE operating system and the bios for Intel B1440ZX motherboard is up to date, I even had the mouse replaced but no luck. I have 7 port USB powered hub and the mouse works fine when the PC is awake. I tried plugging the mouse’s USB plug into the back of the PC and still doesn’t work. It used to work either by pressing a key on the keyboard or movingthe mouse, but now only the P/S 2 keyboard will wake it up. Another problem is if the PC is set to go on standby after 1 hour by itself, it STAYS off after that, I had to set it manually by clicking start, click standby and it will go on standby butnot automatically anymore without doing this. Once it goes on standby by itself, I had to press the reset button on my PC. It used to work before but now it’s a pain! Any ideas?
