We have a client that is using a firewall (Cisco) and for somereason when we close the ports to 5631 + 5632 PCAnywhere 9 is not able to connect. However PCAnywhere 10 is able to connect. When I open all the ports up PCAnywhere 9 IS able to connect. I researched Symantec’s website and they said version 9 uses the same ports as version 10.
Any ideas? Also I checked their version 9 is not setup to use any irregular ports, they are at the default value. I also tried several different computers using version 9 to verify it was not just their computer. I appreicate your help.
