I need some help with pcanywhere. I am running 10.5 on Windows 2000 Pro, SP4. I am not using it as a host, but only as a remote. The problem is that even thought the host is not running, my com ports are unavailable for anything else. There are no modems in the machine and the trouble just started after installing pcanywhere 10.5 I have seen this 3 times now and I do know that upgrading to windows xp will fix the problem, but in this case its not an option. Any ideas?
