I’m trying to reinstall a operating system on my laptop, but I’m concerned that once I format my C drive my cd which is pcmcia won’t recognize. I have a thinkpad x20 laptop and I’m not really sure of the specs and if they are already preinstall. If anyone has knowlegde that expands beyond the manual please respond to this question.

PS I have the software for the CD. I can’t create a boot disk and the bios doesn’t give me an option to run from the cd.
