OS: Win XP professional {SP 2}
It’s been 1 n 1/2 months i still hang on …i have a compaq presario v2000 notebook..for some purpose i need to have a female 25pin parallel port. For this i purchased a SUNNIX make 32bit PCMCIA card bus with 2 parallel interfaces. Problem is whwnever i insert the card into my PC card slot…the whole system comes to a standstill[it’s not HANG!!]then i remove the card & the system comes to life…Interestingly the card works sometimes & the ports attached can be seen in device manager, and sometimes it doesnot work—-making the whole system paralysed…i have tried everything what ever i could…but no result..
Default winxp PCMCIA ADAPTER is: GENERIC[I changed this to Texas Instruments too, but nothing happened]
Please HELP..other than going for a new pcmcia card…
