Pdf writer

Is there any pdf writer available for Linux which convert batch of docs into PDF?
I mean any file to PDF. just like there are many in windows.

Please share your expertise.

send the list of files to cups, with the output sent to pdf.
the print server itself creates pdf files.
so you can use print batches to do this.

acrophobia is a program written by Jerry Askew (info@askew.net) that creates a virtual shared printer on your network. Anything printed to that printer will be converted to a PDF and e-mailed back to the originator.

Drop Jerry a line and ask if it will do what you wish.
