Peer-To-Peer Networking

by alexbucho . Updated 25 years ago

I did a Peer-To-Peer Networking using CAT5 cross-over cable on my 2 PCs’, Using WIN 98SE as my O/S on the two machines and everything worked fine. I later tried to use WIN2000 on one of the machines and it did not work. I do not know if my configuration is proper it keeps giving me an error message that it could not find the named computer or server whenever I go to the Network Neigbhourhood. Please how can I resovlve this problem. Note that whenever I set the machine with WIN2000 O/S back to WIN 98 it will establish the connection.
