Peer-to-Peer (P2P) calendar sharing

by roninv . Updated 18 years, 9 months ago

I have come across a client with a five(5) computer P2P network, with W2k+ operating systems, single router connection (P2P, internet). Surprisingly, there is no uniform calendaring system among them, with only two of the five having a similar calendaring program (Outlook). Currently, each user has access to multiple printers, and they share a folder or two. Because of user familiarity with Outlook, network setup, and budget, I suggested they get Outlook install on all pcs and give OfficeCalendar a try. OfficeCalendar is made for synchronizing Outlook in P2P networks, it allows for remote synching via the internet, as well as PDA synchs. I know Windows Home Server is out there, but any other suggestions would be appreciated. I setup a similar P2P network and used OfficeCalendar that has been doing great.
