How does one setup a p2p between one Win98 machine and one WinXP using a 10 mb hub in between?

Peer-to-Peer with WinXP

1. Both computers need to be members of the same workgroup.
2. You must enable a network protocol that both computers will use. If you will not be connected to the Internet, NetBEUI works well expecially with Win98. If you decide to go with TCP/IP, both computers need to have IP addresses in the same subnet.
3. Both computers need to have user accounts created for whoever will be connecting to shared resources.
4. File and Print Sharing must be installed and enabled.
5. Resources must be shared to enable access from the other computer.
