I have attempted to add a 4th hard drive to an array. My server is a Dell Poweredge 2800 with 3 140GB Maxtor 10K Atlas SCSI hard drives in a RAID configuration. Not sure if Raid 0 or 1. Well I’ve got the new hard drive installed and reconstructed the array, and the status of the new hard drive is “online”. But I still have the same amount of hard drive space as b4!!?? It does say that 380MB are unallocated for the new disk, does this mean it needs formatting or something?? Please Help!
