I have a Windows 2000 Proffessional PC that has just been setup. I also have a CD ROM and CD Writer. I changed the Administrator username and password for myself, so effectively I am the Administrator. My problem lies with both the CD’s. I write CD’s, but I cannot read CD’s on either the writer or the CD ROM. I have checked all the permissions and as Administrator should be able to see or do anything. I know that they work as I have said I can write and I see the normal CD light come on. Also when I put in an installation CD, which should start automatically, it does not.
