Hello,
I dont understand something about how Windows sets permissions on shares. does it totally ignore the ACL’s that have been set? For instance… lets say you have user Bob, Joe and Sally. Oh and this is in workgroup mode, not domain. Anyway, Lets say on the server only Bob and Joe have access to folder “A”. Then if folder “A” is made into a SHARED FOLDER and leave the default share permissions, will Sally now have read access to this if she accesses the share even though on the NTFS permissions she cannot view it?
Thanks,
Adam
