Hi,
I am finishing a master degree, and there is an opportunity to keep on going for the PhD. However, I don’t want to do research forever. After university, I would actually like a position related to business (into an engineering field, of course). I wonder if the engineering PhD is a big hinderance to move into an area other than R&D, and how can you overcome the overqualification issue.
