PING General Failure
I Got this report when pinging my gateway and any other intranet host:
Pinging 195.166.231.1 with 32 bytes of data:
General failure.
General failure.
General failure.
General failure.
Ping statistics for 10.10.3.2:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss)
I still can browse outside intranet only.
I can’t ping over the gateway.
Last activites i did: that i installed a software called Alcohol on my vista so afterwrds, the system was rebooting itself.
So i back up my file, formatted the system entirely and and later installed my vista again.
The problem is that i cannot telnet neither can i ping any url on my command prompt,it gives error message as hardware failure and i don’t know the next point of action.

What happend to my LAPTOP?
I need a solution now from members of techRepublic who has more experience than i do.
