Ping IP over WAN

By bob.burkowski ·
I have a unix server with a valid internal IP address on subnet A. I can ping the server from that subnet but I cannot ping it from subnet B. I used Tracert and it stops at the serial port on subnet A router. Is there something I can do on each router to allow communication between subnets?

Ping IP over WAN

You need to make the two networks aware of each other on the router. Depending on the routing protocol you are using, you need to enter a network statement that identifies the networks and the interfaces they are associated with.
