PING to start dial on demand

Hi Guys,

Quick Question…. Windows 2000 server running Routing and remote access services.

What I need is a programme that will ping an ip address to start the dial-on-demand, and initiate the connection to the internet. Then once the programme receives a positive reply from the ping.. to start an external programme.

Any ideas?
