    PIX VPDN configurartion

    Locked

    by genesiswave ·

Client has a VPDN configuration on their PIX 515, users can successfully attach to the firewall and connect to the internal network, but they are unable to browse the Internet. After they disconnect they can resume browsing, but is there a way to configure the VPDN/PIX so that the users can browse the Internet while connected to the Internet. I am guessing that the answer is probably in an access list but I am not certain.
    Thanks

Well, NAT and VPN do not go well together so what your doing is popping in through the VPN and attempting to get out through your PIX. I have the same configuration, I am able to browse the inet. Youll want to check your VPN configuration and basically look at its ip configuration the way you would any other machine.

If you provide more information through comment on this post then I can help you out more and double check my configuration to see if we all agree 😉 If you reject my post and comment I don’t think I am able to continue helping you. Just use the comment link to provide more information.

      Thanks!

User VPDN to the firewall from the outside and then are able to connect to internal resources, however they cannot ping the default gateway or get to any external resources. Any suggestions
