New member here. Trying to figure out what my next step should be. First off I am 26 years old and currently working in the IT field. I want to continue my education but going back for my bachelors is just too expensive right now. As of now I have an associates degree in Computer science network engineering and I am also A+ tech certified. I have about a years worth of experience working as a computer tech for a very solid company but want to grow more and market myself. I plan on moving to Boston soon and want to land a job as easy as possible.
I know I could get a job as a help desk tech but I dislike that position…being stuck behind a desk all day. So what certification should I go after that I could achieve within the next few months? I was thinking MCITP but you need to get a windows 7 cert first which is kind of lame. I was thinking MCTS or N+ but not sure. Any advice? Thanks.
