PLEASE HELP - Flowpoint Port Forwarding

By ahaimsky3 ·
Hi, I have a program called "Remotely Anywhere" (It's like almost any other remote control program, so if you haven't heard of it, it doesn't really matter) through which one can control a remote pc through the use of any Java-enabled browser. Anyway, here's my problem: I'd like to set up the server side at work, where the network is connected to dsl through a Flowpoint 144 router. Now I think that this has a firewall built-in (not sure) because there is one ip address the router uses, and thenevery computer is set to use an internal ip (192.168.254.x). I need to connect to one of these computers remotely...! The instructions say that in a situation like this, port forwarding must be set up on the router. I downloaded the program to control the flowpoint router, but it's instructions were pretty impossible to understand. I also need to get rid of the password the isp set on the router, but I THINK I know how to do that. Anyway, pleeeeeease help. I really need to get this setup as soon as possible. THANKS!!!!!!!! Also, in a perfect world, I would like to set up all the computers on the network with this program and be able to control ANY of them remotely. I guess when I punch in the public IP address (same as the one the router'susing) I should get a list of computers that I can connect to...? Right? I'm so confused... Anyway, if you only know how to make it forward to a single computer, that information will be great for now. If anyone feels like throwing in some VPN setuppointers under this setup as well, I would be ever so grateful (I know, I'm pushing my luck =) ) Thanks again!!!

PLEASE HELP - Flowpoint Port Forwarding

From what you describe I understand that the problem is that you cant access the computers behind the firewall whcih uses NAT (Network Address Transolatro). So you decided to setup PAT (Port Address transolator) but the instructions is not clear, since you have been reading the instructions and you don't understand it how should I that I have not seen the instructions be able to read it?
For a workaround you can use VPN to connect to your LAN and than connect using your remote administration tool.
