Please help - need good dynamic DNS client that runs as a service
I have tried DynDNS (http://www.kana.homeip.net/), but it's flaky and it runs as an application so I assume I have to be logged in for it to be running and work. Is this correct?
I would like to find something that runs as a native service on the machine so that as soon as it boots, the dynamic updates will happen, without me having to log in.
Am I on the right track here? Is there a really good, solid client that you all have used before that is KNOWN GOOD and won't leak memory and do other nasty things to the server?
I am using dyndns.org for my solution. Just need to find a good updater client!
Thanks in advance!
