    Please resync with your desktop

    We have a user who continues to receive the message “Please resync with your desktop” on her BlackBerry. Is anyone else experiencing this issue and if so, how were you able to resolve it?

      Sounds like a problem with the Autosync shedule being turned on.

      [u]Using the Auto Start feature to synchronize automatically[/u]

      1. Start your Desktop Manager program

      2. Click on the Intellisync icon

      3. Click on the Configure PIM button

      4. Make sure ALL handheld applications are checked (if you plan to synchronize all of them at startup time) and that Lotus Notes 5.0 is shown as the translator for Address Book, Memopad and Tasks and that Blackberry Wireless Sync is shown as the translator for the Calendar.

      5. Click OK

      6. Click on the Auto Start button

      7. Check the following 3 actions: Reconcile E-mail, Synchronize PIM, Update Handheld?s date and time.

      8. Click OK and click Close at the Intellisync window.

      Or she is using Lotus notes calendar and it is set to automatically resync on updates.
